Last week in Year 1 we created a bug house which we have been improving and adapting to each challenge that has arisen! Much to our surprise, we came into school yesterday and it has survived the storm!
With this in mind, the children have created another ‘new and improved’ that is “even better” than the last, that resides at the end of the playground. They were particularly proud of how they accomplished this together as a team, with the help of Mrs Woods.
Throughout this week during our outdoor time, we have decided to create a bug hotel and now a shop. What a fantastic example of children showing our values at Alban Wood – Respect, Kindness and Ambition! Great job!
