This week reception are linking their learning to the story book ‘A Street Through Time’. Within this book are sections of a 12,000-year walk through history. Each week we will be focusing our learning on one topic taken from the book and this week we are looking at the Stone Age.
Today in literacy, Reception’s learning focus was on a Stone Age diet and the types of food human-gatherers ate and how the human-gatherers caught their food (with weapons). Linking in with our art lesson, we then made our own Stone Age weapons! Reception really enjoyed this creative task!
