This week, reception has been linking their learning to the storybook Stickman. One of their favourite lessons in literacy this week was creating their own family in the form of sticks. The children then extended their learning by labelling their family using their phonics knowledge. Some children used initial sounds such as ‘m’ for mummy and other children used all their sounds such as d-a-d. Well done reception!
