Today, Year 6 were visited by PCSOs Daisy and Keith who led us through the Lives not Knives workshop. We learnt a lot about how to keep safe as we move to secondary school and what to do if we feel something is not quite right. After looking at the laws around knife crime, we looked at how the choices we make now can have a huge impact on our futures. Year 6 were very mature as they tackled these sensitive issues but a special well done goes to Raul who won the ‘contributor of the day’ trophy! A huge thank you to Daisy and Keith for your time today – a very worthwhile and thought-provoking day!
