As part of Alban Wood’s celebration of black history month, Year 5 were given 4 significant black figures to learn about. These were: Muhammad Ali, Dianne Abott, Simone Biles and Martin Luther King. We created presentations on these different people so we could learn about them, discuss their achievements and recognise their significance in the past, how they have impacted out present and will continue to impact in the future.
