Choir at Asda

The choir’s visit to Asda on Friday tied in with the Agora Trust’s Generosity Day.  The choir sang beautifully, entertaining the Christmas shoppers as well as a large crowd of supportive family members: parents, grandparents and great-grandparents! The collection bucket has been counted and a whopping £86.10 was raised.  We have chosen DRUM, a local charity based in North Watford, to be the recipient of our Generosity Day fundraising.  DRUM provides activities and support to adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities. We hope to present a representative of DRUM with the money we raised later this week.  Thank you very much to the families who transported the children there and back to school.  Thanks also to Mrs Thomas who leads music at Alban Wood, Mrs Ascott and to Mr Sutton who took a keyboard to Asda so that live music accompanied the children’s delightful singing.
