The children in the Pastoral Base linked Optimism Day to what they wanted to do in the future, they thought about what they would like to do when they grow up. They spoke about being firefighters, policemen, construction workers and doing a good job, they then drew a picture and labeled it on their ‘optimistic lenses’.
