Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their recent trip to Batchworth Lock! During the trip they were able to learn about the history of the lock and the complexities that building a lock involves, operate the lock themselves for members of the public and enjoy a boat ride along the Grand Union Canal. Luckily, we were able to miss the torrential rain too!
